Meet Chuck Gordon, Founder and CEO of Connect Hope
Chuck is native Floridian (and an avid Gator fan), and began a radical relationship with Jesus Christ when he was 16 years old. During his junior year at Mercer University, Chuck surrendered his life to serve Christ in full time ministry. It was also there that he met (and eventually got his act together and married) his college sweetheart and love of his life, Jennifer. They are blessed with their three incredible daughters; Maegan, Abigail and Laura Beth. Chuck and Jen have served full-time in ministry in the CSRA (Central Savannah River Area) since 1991… as student pastor at Warren Baptist Church for more than 12 years. Here, Chuck along with some close minister friends, developed the CSRA Student Pastors Network, seeking to encourage, equip and unify student pastors to make Jesus famous together. It’s incredibly encouraging to see this network, more than 30 years later, still alive and thriving today. Chuck then was blessed to serve as lead pastor of Greenbrier Church for over 16 years, and currently has the incredible privilege of serving on staff as part-time volunteer coordinator for True North Church.
With a heart and burden for pastors and their families, in January 2021, Chuck, Jennifer, and their Board of Directors launched the non-profit ministry, “Connect Hope.” Since its launch, Chuck has been meeting with pastors from around the CSRA, seeking to encourage and challenge them and their personal walk with Christ, their marriages, families, and their church ministries.
